Morton Atkinson Associates is a small, highly specialised
surveying practice combining a high degree of expertise with a
personal approach and competitive rates.
 The
practice was set up in 2000 to concentrate on two areas:

the legal aspects of surveying
-
measured surveys of historic buildings
Nigel Atkinson is a nationally recognised authority on the survey
aspects of boundary dispute resolution. He has a proven track record
of successful cases as an expert witness over a 25 year period. He has
published and lectured on boundaries, rights of way, and landfill
litigation.
He brings the same meticulous attention to detail to the survey of
historic buildings, using computerised measurement, data-recording,
processing and plotting to ensure the highest accuracy.
Nigel Atkinson is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors and is currently a
Corresponding Member of the Boundaries and Party Walls working group.
He is part of both the RICS Expert Witness Accreditation Scheme
and the Neighbour Disputes Service. He is a Founding Member of the Expert
Witness Institute.
